Absence of innocence

Eggs can symbolize new life and fertility. As well as innocence. The absence of anything inside but maggots symbolize the corruption of childlike wonder (and absence of things mentioned before). As we grow up many of us often lose that youthful outlook on life. I think it is important to hold onto the child version of you thats deep inside and nurture them.
