Intent connect

I take polaroid photos of a representational dango and mask of me in nature, and places I frequent. A photo with a created extension of me in nature illustrates my presence in the world. It is seemingly large in your hands but compared to nature it is tiny. Its surroundings engulf it much how life does. Human life can seem so small compared to the span of the universe. Yet that doesn't take away the importance of its existence. This is to document and solidify my presence.​ I also play with the ideas of others identity by asking strangers to obscure themselves with the representational items of me. Questioning how much of their identity is still there, and how mine is shaping them in that moment.
